Too many days with period..,...

Hello, i will start by saying that i am 21 years old and have always had a normal menstrual flow, i have it for exactly 7 days and 28 days later i get it again. My reason for worrying is that normally on the 7th day i have nothing but maybe one tiny drop in the day and thats it, but today is my 7th day and i am still bleeding. It worries me because ive never had it like this before.  The only change ive had is that i used a 3 day vaginal insert for yeast infection, dont now if that ahs anything to do with it. If someone knows anything about it please give me some advice. thank you and have a great day.

I wouldn't worry at this point. So it's 8 days instead of 7? Don't fret. As many women can tell you, not every cycle is the same, no matter how regular you usually are. Your endometrium apparantly grew a little thicker this month, or it's just shedding a little more slowly. If it lasts several days longer than usual, that would be the time to call your gynecologist.
