Treated for BV and Yeast still have issues with tearing

2 months ago I was diagnosed with my first ever yeast infection.  I was experiencing some discomfort and burning during sex, also after sex had small tears at the vagina opening and on the inner labia.  DR tested me for all STD's, swabbed tears for herpes, results for STDs came back negative.  I took 2 diflucan's and was feeling better.

4 weeks ago I noticed some white discharge and had the same feeling I had last time I was diagnosed with yeast so I  had my DR call in a rx for diflucan.   I abstained from having sex for just over a week to allow the infection to clear up, when I did have sex I experienced the burning and tears so I went to my Dr and was told I had alot of yeast and she gave me Terconazole cream.  A few days later when my results were in, my Dr told me along with yeast I had gardnerella bacteria (Bacterial Vaginosis) so after 3 days of Terconazole I was switched to metrogel for 5 nights. I wasn't experiencing any itching, burning, or smelly discharge, diagnosis was result of swab culture.  I completed the treatment 5 days ago.  I did not have sex for 2 weeks (none at all during treatment)  I had sex for the first time again last night & this morning and experienced the burning during intercourse and found I have a tear at the vaginal opening (6 o'clock position).  (Sex was with my boyfriend of 1 year)

I'm feeling some discomfort but nothing overwhelming, mostly just experience the pain during and after sex.  I heard that metrogel can cause yeast infections, should I use the rest of the Terazol in case I have a yeast infection?  What is causing the tear to reoccur.. yeast?  I really want/need this all to go away!
