I am 43years old.I had a complete hysterectomy on Jan 30,2006. I had to be givin blood because of anemia on the 1st of Feb. I had a reaction during the process and the transfusion was stopped during the 2nd unit. I had developed large hematomas on both sides of my abdominal incision. I released from the hospital on Feb.2,2006. I was in alot of pain and very nauseated. On Feb.3,2006 I was trying to vomit and my incision burst openand I started bleeding very heavy. My husband calledan ambulance and I was taking back to the hospital for another 2 day stay. During thistime I have to have my incision packed with gauze and bandaged at least 2x daily. I would like to know what percentage of womenwho have hysterectomys have this kind of problem and how long is the healing process.
I had one in april, they had a retractor injury . from that injury they opended me back up and was packed 2 times a day. had 6 surgeries since then , i am closed now, but in pain. so i know what you are going through. i could get in more detail. i left a nother tread somewhere else, but its awful , i wouldl ike to know what we can do!
Just wish I could get the Dr's to STOP saying its all in my head cause its not. I wish I could turn back time and I would have never had the surgery done. I would have just lived with the overflowing period...I have since lost my job and everything because of the tremors, stuttering and dizzy. I just don't know what else to do...
Can you e-mail me? ***@****- I think I may have some information that can help you. I PROMISE I am NOT going to try and sell you anything... this isn't a ad e-mail invite. This exact same thing has happened with me and I am 30 and had a hysterectomy when I was 28. I am now close to finding "me" again. I just have a few suggestions that you may want to tell your Dr.
