Trush On Tongue

I was wondering if anyone knew how long trush takes to clear up . . .I was sick about a month ago and I was on a lot of antibiotics which i think caused it. It started about 2 1/2 weeks ago I went to my doctor she gave me some medicine (Difulcan) but i just ran out of it today and i was on it for 13 days with a little improvment but not much. I called the doctor to see if I needed to go back in she told me to wait and if my tongue started to hurt to come in. How much longer should i wait does any one have any ideas for home treatment ??? Anything would help thanks !!!!

I also had a sinus infection for 3 days last week which i think may have prolonged it.

Thank you for posting. I am also having the same problem. What could it be? Does any one know. Mine also started a month ago but if I take coslaw salad it disappears don't know may be its a coincidence.

I work in a compounding pharmacy and we make this stuff called Miricale Mouthwash....its great...clears up thrush usually in a say or two...depends on how bad it is and so on.  Or some nystatin would work, the miricale mouthwash contains hydrocorisone and nystatin along with some other things and all you do is rinse with it a couple times a day.  Its great for babies that have thrush too.  Just a thought you might want to check into it if its doesnt clear up.  Best of Luck!!!!!
