Trying for a baby- MCycle confusion:HELP

Hi there
I was hoping someone could help me. Me and my partner have been trying to conceive for around 12months now and are getting very frustrated. We have both had checks and i am ovulating fine and his sperm count is fine. The thing is i ovulate around the usual marker of CD14-16 but i start spotting red blood on CD22 which continues every day until CD29 where i had my full bleed. The thing is last month my menstrual cycle started on CD26 then (Using an ovulating predictor kit) i ovulated on CD15 of this month but have now begun spotting red blood  again on CD22 which will probably continue every day until i fully come on. Is this normal?? and can i still conceive with my cycle suddenly becoming so short??
Advice please!!!
