Trying for baby..

I know you can get pregnant like right before you ovulate... i was wondering though... i have a 28-33 day cycle.. i used a ovulation calander and it told me i'd ovulate on the 22 of june.. ..my boyfriend and i had sex on the 20th.. do you think my chances of gettin prego would be high? and how long does sperm live in a women's body.. i'v been told 3 days, and 5 - 7 days.. or does it just depend on the sperm itself? Anyway.. I hope I have a positive test in a few weeks!

since your cycle is not regular you should use a ovulation kit. if your trying for a baby why did you only try one day and why did you try days before ovulation?

Sperm normally live 5-7 days but it may depend on the actual sperm.  And an egg normally only lives for 24 hours if not fertilized.  So yes the chances are quite high of getting pregnant with your timing.

However also bear in mind that there is only a 20-25% of getting pregnant in each cycle.
