Well it has been quite awhile ago ,but here it is ,i had them put on in1984 and in 1992 ,i was feeling sick a lot and lots of abdominal pain ,i went to free clinics since i was a self employed barber w/out ins.when i went i always filled out paper work saying i had the hukla clams ,but they never talked or checked or no concern regarding them,so i just figured they new what they were doing ,and i was checked and diagnosed w/other things and put on antibiotics .,then 2yrs later  i moved home from Florida to Michigan i drove all the way feeling terrible and afraid to stop, when i reached my moms in Mi,my legs were 3 times natural size and i was sick..after getting some sleep ,i woke to find a protrusion on my belly on my c-section scar to the left ,i thought it was a hernia ,then got thinking i have had enough ,i went to emergency at local hospital to be examined and told cyst or ??and sent home and told to find reg.doctor due to no insurance i`m sure, next day went found a doctor to take me and asked could it be the clamps ,he was mad about the emergency room thing due to he worked at the same hospital ,he sent me down to get tests and i went in emergency surgery, when i came to i was told by my mom that they almost had to do a colostomy due to the clamp had landed on my colon and abcessed, they removed it and the abscess that was 10 centimeters deep,it was all taken care of no col.bag and the incision was left open to heal from inside out, that was a nightmare a nurse came for 28 days to help clean it out .Due to my finances i had to go back to work not completly healed w/plastic bag taped over it .That's how i know ,and now i have a nasty scar ,that i hate, and 1 more clamp in there ,that also scares me.
