UTERINE FIBROIDS,ADOMINAL(abdominal) PAIN+CONSTIPATION...

I have uterine fibroids and I'm sched.to have a myomectomy on 4/2. I have lived with uterine fibroids for almost 2yrs now. It was diagnosed when I was 6wks pregnant. It gave me a lot of pain then,but now I've had increased pain lately. I have also noticed that I been soooo constipated. I do drink a lot of water and I eat fruits and vegeatables + fiber. I'm not really nervous on having surgery. Maybe I'm just stressing on this TERRIBLE PAIN I'm having. I can't do too much exercise due to my abdominal pain. I walk at my work (but probably it's not enough). I really don't know what to do! Can someone advise me or let me know if you have gone thru this? What did you do to help yourself in this situation???

I know that any kind of cysts can cause constipation depending on where they are.  There is really nothing that can be done until your surgery,  you can try hot water bottle, advil etc.  Did they say how big they were and where they were?

Yes, I have 4! It is sooo frustrating. 2 are giving tme the biggest Terrible pain. 1 is 10cm and the 2nd is 6cm. and they are almost on top of eachother. They are sort of located near my cervix. It is in my uterus lining. It is not blocking my cervix at all. So, I was able to deliver my baby fine 19 months ago. I don't know how it got so big? It should of died down (there is no high hormone change to increse any blood supply to them). I don't take any form of birth control pills. So, that could of made them bigger? Hmmm I'm just have to winged, I guess? :(  I take tylenol extra strenght and I still have pain. The had prescribed me tylenol w/codein. But I don't want to depend on them a lot. I do work so it's very hard for me to take them. :(
