UTI?

Hi. me and my boyfriend had sex with a condom and now it hurts when I pee.
I don't know why. I've been drinking cranberry juice before it happened. I don't know if its a UTI or the condom.
that condom was different then the others we use. my boyfriend said it felt and smelled like lotion.
I took a shower and used this vaginal wash I bought hoping it would help. but nothing's changed.
is there anything I can do to make this feeling go away?
I had this problem before but it was when I lost my virginity. and I drank water before and I after I used to the bathroom. and I drank lots and lots of cranberry juice.
but that feeling was different than this one. it just hurts when I pee before it hurt all the time.

It's possible it's because of the new condom. Does anything look red, swollen and/or feel itchy? I'm allergic to some lubricants and spermicide in certain condoms and use a diaper rash cream for outer swelling and irritation. Not much to do about the inside, but in my experience (if it is just the condom) every day will feel some improvement and it's usually gone by the 3rd day.

If it's a UTI the pain and urination frequency will only get more intense. Your urine might also have a bit of a "cloudy" look to it.

Hope that helps some.

my friend Jess think it's from the condom. and the pain is going away each time I pee. I've been drinking a lot of water. and I don't think my pee cloudy. lol
and It's not itchy it doesn't feel swollen. it just hurt to pee. I don't know about weather it's red or not. I'll check the next time I have to use the bathroom.

Hi my wife has had many infections thru out her life and her advice is to cut the cranberry juice it's only to prevent an infection, no vaginal wash, it's an infection that needs antibiotics.!! But continue to drinks lots of water and pee as much as u can. Stay hydrated. But I strongly suggest to hit the docs up and get those antibiotics u need to make ur self better. Stay away from sex till ur infection is completely gone that will to help one bit it may make it worser to where it may turn into a UTI possibly a kidney infection.
