Ultrasound of Lymph Nodes terms?

by Kazann, Sep 19, 2005 12:00AM
Hi,
I had an ultrasound done on my right Axilla, after 4 weeks of a tender lump.By the time I had the ultrasound, the tenderness had dissapeared, but the lump has remained.
The report states :

"A dominant lymph node was noted within the right axilla measuring approximately 26x11x16mm. This lymph node however had a normal ultrasound morphology and with colour doppler vascularity appeared normal. Some smaller adjacent lymph nodes were also noted and these also had normal morphology."

So, I guess this definitely means that everything is o.k?
Any thoughts would be great.

Karen
