I agree with the poster above, it does sound like it could be endometriosis. It would certainly be something to discuss with your doctor. There is no cure but there are treatments for it. There are other symptoms that go with it but as Jen said it is different for each person. You should look up info on endo symptoms and see if you are experiencing any of these.
But speak with your doctor about it and get it looked at more.

It could be possible that you have endometriosis. Painful intercourse is a sign of endo. It could be that you have an endometrial adhesion that the penis is hitting causing you to feel this discomfort. Endo is not seen on ct, MRI, ultrasound, or X-ray it can only be diagnosed through a laproscopic surgery with biopsy. There is no cure for endo however it is not fatal. You should mention this to your doctor. Some women can have very little endo and experience excruciating pain or you can have alot of endo and have no pain at all each case is different.
