Unwanted hair

I have unwanted hair around my nipples and I'm so self conscious about it that I really want to remove them. But I've heard that removal of hair on the breasts/nipples can cause breast cancer. Does anyone know if this is true to all methods of hair removal or just waxing/plucking? Could anyone suggest something I could do to solve my problem?

I've never heard of the breast cancer association, I've been plucking/or shaving that area for years. No problems. Best wishes.

I pluck them, although they kinda hurt sometimes...lol

I pluck them. I also get them on the upper lip, and chin. I am only 24, half white and half puerto rican. I think its my hormones, but it's very irritating. Best of luck.

i pluck mine to been doing it now for years... thing is ive noticed that i started getting ingrown hairs now and have to break the skin to get them out... i dont no which one looks worse the hair or the cuts :(
