I had one removed a ways back, and the good thing is I found a doctor that removed them without a hysterectomy, he just went in thru the vagina and clipped it out. so I lost nothing but the fibroid, plus it was very minor surgery and I was home the same day. some doctors think you have to have a hysterectomy but you don't. of course every case is different. but that was my experience.
I am 28 and in May I was diagnoised with Uterine Fibroids, I found out that I was pregnant when they discovered that I had something else there other than a fetus. I chose to terminate my pregnancy, the pregnancy caused the fibroids to grow. I was told by my doctor that I had one on the back of my uterus. Your best bet would probably be to get them removed, or else you will be in for pain during your pregnancy.
