Vaginal Flatulence After Giving Child Birth

After giving birth to my baby in October 2007, I have been having vaginal flatulence.  It comes about when I actually have gas to pass, out of the appropriate area, but instead, comes out of my vagina.  It also has an odor & can be very loud and uncontrollable.  This definately started happening after I had my baby.  I may have even had a 3rd degree tear.  Is there anything I can do for this?  Will kegel exercises really work?  HELP!  It's embarrassing.

You might want to look into slight rectocele, or prolapses and see if your  symptoms compare...just a thought.

Yes Kegal exercises will help.  If it is severe and Kegels don't help, you can have vaginal rejunuvination surgery to repair and tighten your vaginal muscles back up again.  Try the Kegels for a while first.  Although the odor is curious.  You  may want to see your dr.
