Vaginal Pain

I feel like there is a rip or tear inside of my vagina. It happened a few months ago and I had a pap and everything turned out fine, but I am still having a lot of pain whenever I have sex. I get UTI's quite often, but the doctor always says to take the anti biotics and I will start feeling better. I wanted to know if I could have a rip or tear inside my vagina and thats what is causing such pain whenever I have sex.

Did they do a culture?  I had a the exact same thing 2 years ago.  That is exactly how I described it to my doc.  That every time I had sex it felt like something was torn or tearing.  They put me on antibiotics assuming it was a yeast infection but did a culture too.  A few days later the doctor called me to apologize.  Turns out, I had Group B Stret and they had to prescribe me new antibiotics.  The ones I was given wouldn't work for what I had.  This sounds just like it!  Go back to the doc and ask if they tested for Group B Strep.
