Vaginal Swelling after sex

Ive been having the problem of when i have sex with my boyfriend i find that afterwards i am really swallon and my vagina walls really swell up badly. ive tried to take things slower using more lubricant and it doesn't seem to work. i have very sensitive skin which when scratched or bumped swells up a lot making a small scratch look really bad. i though maybe this had something to do with why it swells so bad. if anyone else has suffered from anything like this please get back to me and let me know what your suggestions would be or what worked for you. As its a growing problem for me and takes a good few days before i feel comfortable down there again. Thanks x x

i am having alomst the same problem after

HEY, I HAD SEX WITH MY BOYFRIEND AND MAYBE I THINK IT WENT ON FOR TOO LONG.
IN THE MIDDLE I GOT ALL DRY AND IT WAS KIND OF HARD FOR HIM TO ENTER AGAIN, BUT WE DID IT ANYWAY. BUT LATER IT STARTED SWELLING UP , IT DID BURN WHEN I WAS PEEING. IS IT BECAUSE OF ROUGH SEX OR MAYBE SOMETHING SERIOUS?

I have a condition called interstitial cystitis and vulvodynia and yes it is cause for concern.  It's not something that is going away.  I have yet to receive any medical help for this problem and have to just suffer w. It.  It only gets worse and I try to avoid sex at all cost.

The same thing happens to me and takes a day or two to go down and stop being sore... I thought it was just me, I'm new at it though, but I think its normal because of the friction

I only swell with my husband. I haven't with previous partners and even now, after a very long separation, my husband and I are trying to get back together. I'm swelling again. We were separated about 10 years. I didn't have this problem with other men. I get tested annually. I've ALWAYS been negative for everything. I'm thinking maybe I'm allergic to his sperm. When I use condoms with him, I don't swell and the sex is always wild regardless. I think it's him making me swell. Perhaps.
