Vaginal Thrush and Antibiotics

I am about to start a course of antibiotics, in the past I have always suffered from thrush while taking antibiotics. I would like to stop it happening this time. Is there anyway I can prevent the thrush from happening? I am thinking of starting a 6 day course of Canisten, 2 days after staring the antibiotics. Do you thinks this will help? Any sugestions would be greatly appriciated to stop this annoying and uncomfortable infection.
