I noticed within the last couple of days that I have a bump on the upper inside of my vaginal lips. The bump is located in an area with some hair, but not a spot I would ever shave. The bump feels kind of hard and looks like a pimple in that there appears to be a yellow fluid inside so the bump looks yellow. I am in the process of being treated for a yeast infection and a few months ago I had a bacterial infection. The bump is painful but not extremely painful. What does this sound like? Thank you!
it could be an ingrown hair. sometimes i'll get those and sometimes it'll take it a while to finally start hurting until i really notice them. if you pop it, and all the stuff comes out, make sure you clean it and don't let any of the yellow stuff get into your vagina (infection reasons) and it should go away within a day or 2.
Thank you for your reply! Oddly, about a day or two after I wrote this question, I was pressing down on the bump in the shower and it literally just came off on my finger. There was no scar on my skin. On my finger it looked like an teeny tiny little (really small) ball, perfectly round. I have no idea what this was. I am kind of concerned though because I have continued to have irritation and discomfort in my vaginal area. Any thoughts?
