Folloclitus that's what it could be, sometimes you need antibiotics to get rid of it! Other times it goes away in its own but could take weeks

For some days now my friend has been having these white thin bumps Àround her vagina and when she presses it blood comes out...any idea what the cause might be?
i have a similar problem. for months now ive been getting these bumps, they dont ever really hurt, kinda itch, not so much, but lately the bumps have been staying down there for over a month, one almost was there for 2 months. and they seem to come right after one another, so i really dont have a time anymore where there isnt a bump down there.... I heard and read that if it lasts for more than a month than it isnt usually herpes. i dunno what to think but, can anyone tell me what it might be? also these bumps are like, a size of a pea cut in half and they are really really hard and it feels like its deep under my skin. any help would be great! thanks.
I have a question. I went to the doctors, and she took cultures and declared me std free and to have had no infections. but I keep getting these bumps well they aren't all bumps some are more like painful welps, they don't do anything but hurt really badly, and after about a week they turn white like a pimple, and when i squeeze it puss comes out, I wash it with dial anti-bacterial soap. then they go back to being welps for a while, then go away like nothing was there. I also get painful bumps in my pubic hair, they hurt like any ingrown hair, and usually go away after a few days or so. sometimes i don't know they are there until they pop when i wipe myself or feel it when i wash myself down there. I don't know what they are but they don't bother me, and my husband doesn't have it. I have only had 4 parteners including my husband, and I have been having this problem along time before I had sexual contact with anyone. they don't bother me unless the hurt then it is uncomfortable, and my doctor can't tell me anything cuz they go away before i see her, or come after i see her. they got really bad after using a certain type of lubercant that i have been using for a while, and after i stopped using it they went back to just one welp ever other month or so. anyway I was just wondering what they were or if i was the only one that had them. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me something about it. thanks

Yes I agree that its probably a mild case of a yeast infection, and I agree that looking on the web for STD symptoms they give you the worst case scenario...I would go to the dr. to be certain..but you should be fine!!...they will can you a diflucan pill and some cream for the discomfort...good luck..keep us posted.

Hey, I had a similar problem a few days ago and I went to the doc...it turned out to be a killer yeast infection. Not to scare you or anything but this is what my doctor told me, if these bumps become itchy, hurt, open up and look like sores, with discharge, there is a possibility of it being herpes but your best bet is to make a doctor appt to be on the safe side. I agree with the above poster. Make sure you arent touching yourself down there and if you are, make sure you wash your hands before and after you explore. I would also refrain from sexual intercourse until you find out what this is, that is if u are sexually active. Good luck!
Dont look at pictures of herpes or any other kind of STD on the net, usually the worst case scenarios are the ones they take pictures of so dont scare yourself like that!!
Forgot to tell you, because you don't know what it is, try not to spread it around on yourself, as in wash your hands thoroughly with antibac soap, and try to avoid wiping that area into another one, that may mean spot wiping. Get rid of your washcloth after each shower, don't wash 'her' until last. And since it's not itching you now, I'm assuming that you aren't itching it, however, the cream may make you itch, DON"T itch it at all. Try to wash it with just warm water, maybe some hypoallergenic mild wash, like baby body wash. No powders, no scented wipes, no sprays, nothing chemical.
You may have a yeast infection ( a mild one). If that is the only area breaking out then it doesn't seem likely that you have an STD, but you can't rule it out. Everyone's body reacts differently. I would try an OTC yeast cream. Something like Monistat7 (don't bother with the 1 or 3 day treatments) you may find it more comfortable to use the ovule instead of the cream, less messy. Make sure to use the little bottle of cream around you vulva and clitoris. If after 3 or 4 days, you see this isn't going away. You need to make an appt. with your doctor. To have some cultures taken and to have the bumps thoroughly looked at. Good luck, I hope it's just a yeast infection. And if it is then the $16 on the meds was worth not worrying yourself to death.
