Vaginal irritation

Hi, I've had irritation in my vaginal lips for a period 3 days. The skin is also pealing white. I'm also experiencing a burning and itching sensation. It also burns when I pee and I believe I tore a little skin, so there's a little bleeding. However, my discharge seems normal. I had been put on antibiotics as I've had bronchitis for the last couple of weeks. The drugs are clarithromycin and this is my first time taking this kind of antibiotics. I've read somewhere online that this medication can cause dryness and irritation in the vaginal area. I'm also sexually active with my boyfriend. We had sex about 5-6 times in a span of 3 days. We also had oral sex.
Does sex have anything to do with the irritation? What are some home remedies I can use to relieve the burning, irritation and pealing? I have never experienced something like this, so I'm a little ashamed to go to the doctors. Any suggestions? What do think this is?

Thank you,
K

It sounds as if you have a yeast infection. If the discharge looks like cottage cheese it is definitely a yeast infection there is over the counter medication to treat your issue its called monistat 7 I have had this stuff when I was pregnant and I had everything you explained. Use monistat when you get out of the shower at Nite to go to sleep. It'll help it also eat yogurt it has natural yeast in it. If you don't wana use monistat I heard plain yogurt works. Yes you can put the yogurt down there, but I'd use it during the day that way you can shower and rinse it off before bed. Then put monistat on before you fall asleep, hope this helps!
