Vaginal issues? (Odor & discharge)
I've been with my partner for about 2 years and we both have no STD's or other diseases. He's the only guy I've ever done it with and he left to boot camp about 2 months ago. So I hadn't had sexual intercourse since 2 months ago. Lately I've noticed that I've been having a lot of discharge daily and I feel as if there's odor now? I'm also taking birth control if that may be the problem..

Hello,
The increased discharge could be due to physiological reasons like rise of hormone level (oestrogen) which is seen- during puberty, menstrual cycle, sexual excitement, pregnancy etc. It could be also seen in poor personal hygiene, non-infective cervical lesions, uterine prolapse, chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, use of contraceptive pills, onset of vaginal infection or sexually transmitted disease etc.

It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
