I think it could be an infection (which then you need to go to the OB) or were you dry during sex? I know if I'm not wet enough or use lube sometimes it will hurt afterwards and become irritated.
You didn't mention whether or not you used protection with the "boyfriend". Condoms will protect you from most stds, but not all (ie herpes). It sounds like you could be experiencing an infection of some sort, but again, need more info. If you didn't use condoms, I would absolutely get to the doctor as an std can cause a lot of damage if left untreated.
