Vigina

My vigina has been itching and i have white things inside my vigina and i keep releasing white fluid. What could be the cause of this?

Forgot to mention that the yogurt is to be used topically, as a sort of douche.

Middle Eastern women use yogurt (containing live organisms). Works fine. By the way, this is not the fruit and sweetened yogurt, but the plain stuff. Much better to eat than the sweet stuff too.

Gotta disagree with both of you here -- the medications kill off the intestinal flora that prevent yeast infections and almost guarantee it will return.  I would see a naturopath for this -- there are many natural remedies that won't irritate you at all and if they work you avoid the die-off and the strong chance of developing a chronic infection.  There are many remedies a naturopath can use, and will usually find one that works without causing you to enter a bad cycle of repeat infections.

You have an infection known as Candida albicans. I know people come here because they want natural remedies, but your most effective action would be the buy Canestan Duo (or a similar anti-fungal recommended by your pharmacist.

Because it's in such a sensitive area, most natural remedies would cause irritation.
