What could be wrong?

I am 17 yrs old and I am sexually active and I am on the birth control patch but i forgot to put the new one on for 3 days and the day after i put in on i had sex.....a week and a half later my period came on time and was normal at first but the second day it was very light and it was a dark brown color.....my periods are alwasy very normal and always come on time and last 4 days.....what could be wrong?.....could i be pregnant?

You could take a pregnancy test now, but if your period just ended would probably be more accurate to test in another week or more. The patch is a good thing for preventing pregnancy, but what are you doing to prevent STDs? You might do yourself a big favor to use both the patch and condoms -- no risk of illness that way, and for the times when you have been a little off on your patch replacement like this one, you won't have to worry either. And please don't tell me your boyfriend won't use condoms. If he wants sex, he'll use condoms. If he says that is a deal-breaker on being a boyfriend, he's not worth it.
