What do I have?

Two days ago I noticed that I I have bumps on the inside flaps of my vagina. they are very small and don't itch. Like a group or bunch on each side. I'll be honest I suffer from depression and anxiety so I would go days without showering. I haven't had sex since February but i'm still worried. I'm 17 and i told my mom but she said its just a yeast infection and that i should just clean the area and they will go away. But I'm still worried , what should i do ? what could i have? Please help and please don't judge. thanks

Hello!
Well first of all I definitely think you should get those bumbs checked out by a doctor just to make sure its nothing bad. But they could just be from a yeast infection I'm 21 years old and I currently have a yeast infection I'm going in to my doc on monday morning because I also notice a few tiny bumps in the same place you do. Ok and now I don't mean to cause panic but have u heard of hpv? It's a very common virus we get through sexual activity.  I was recently diagnosed with this because of an abnormal pap smear I had. Hpv can cause changes in the cells of the cervix that have the pontential to turn into cancer but most of the time doesn't thanks to early detection. Hpv can also cause genital warts and they are usually bumps or growths grouped together. To my understanding they're painless and don't usually itch. I don't have warts, according to my gyn I have a different strain which is causing the changes in my cervix but I'm still going in to get everything checked out and you should too! Any bump down there should get checked by a doctor. Try not to worry too much whatever it is you'll be fine. Take care and good luck! :)
