The better your reproductive education is, the more protected you are.
Look up the menstrual cycle, from day 1 of bleeding to day 1 of bleeding the next time. You'll find ovulation in the middle. Look up cervical mucus, too. It's all there.

Clear cervical mucus means you're ovulating, cloudy or milky means you're not. Neither is unusual or problematic. If you want to start charting when you see the clear mucus, if you keep several months of data on graph paper (there are also aps for this), you will be able to get a good idea of when in your menstrual month to expect ovulation and how far from your period it happens. Don't worry, clear is normal, as is thin and milky white.
