What to do after a Miscarriage?

by Cher123, Jun 06, 2007 12:00AM
I have only been pregnant twice (it took a year of trying in between) and both times I miscarried at 5 weeks.  My husband and I really want a baby what should I do next?  Should I go see some sort of specialist and research why my body rejects the pregnancy after 5 weeks?  Or should I ask my doctor to put me on Clomid because we are getting frustrated at trying?

Any suggestions?

I would go to a reproductive specialist (RE). I have fertility issues as well. I just got pregnant for the first time after trying for three years from invitro-fertilization and miscarried at six weeks. I was devestated. You could request some testing to see if they could figure out why you are miscarrying. Good luck. I hope you find your answers.

I know a few people and it took them 4yrs to get pregnant.
It only took me 2yrs. I miscarried April 13th 05 and then I got pregnant again
May 2005,I have a beautiful daughter now. :)
And I wouldn't get infertility done.
That's how you end up with triplets etc
and You don't want that. Try adopting.
that's what i would do! there's too many risks with infertility drugs
There's so many babies born every day and some don't have a mom or dad
for many reasons. So,You should consider it. and Trust me,when you look into their eyes, you won't be worried about having one of your own
because IT IS YOUR OWN!. :) Hope I helped.
and Good luck in whatever you decide!
