Okay so my husband and I have been trying to conceive for the last three months. My cycles are very regular and start like clock work. So of course in November when I didn't have a period on the 12th I knew that this could be it. I could actually be pregnant. So I wanted until three days after my missed period to test. I got a negative. So then the following day I took another one. Still negative. As much as I should have waited I got a blood test done just in case it would show before a HPT. That was also negative. So I waited a couple of weeks to see if my period was really off. Well as expected I never started. So on Sunday the 27th of November I took another pregnancy test. I still got negative. So Yesterday Dec 1 I went to the doctor to see about a pelvic exam or something to fully rule it out. All the Nurse Practioner did was give me ANOTHER STUPID URINE TEST EVEN AFTER I SAID I AM ALWAYS NEGATIVE. Of course it was the same result as before and as expected. Now if this was my first baby I would have went the first test and said okay well let's try again. However, this is my 3rd pregnancy (well will be) and I have been through this before. Both pregnancy I found out a good bit later that I was pregnant. The situation with my first child was that I had gotten pregnant but kept getting negative tests. My doctor at the time told me that I was over weight and that was the reason why I wasn't ovulating or could even conceive, so naturally I thought I should lose some weight. Well about two months later I got into a car accident. I went to the doctor the next day and before I could get an X-Ray done they told me that I was pregnant. I told them that there is no way because of what the initial doctor had told me. Well they decided to do a blood test. It said that I was pregnant. Well when I finally had an ultrasound done I was 15 going into 16 weeks. That was two weeks after the initial accident. With my second baby I was two months before I found out with her. So if I can't get my doctor to do a pelvic exam or ultrasound with that history alone, what should I do to find out if I am pregnant?
