Whats Wrong With My Body???

I had my regular menstrual, which lasts 5 days. (Sunday-Thursday) I did not bleed for four days, which made me believe I was done. Then all of a sudden my back starts hurting and I started bleeding again. Whats going on?

This was very helpful. the second time it came around was only two days and it has stopped now. I have no health insurance so I would probably need to find a free clinic and see a doctor.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
This intermenstrual bleeding can be due to hormonal imbalance. Other causes can be hormonal imbalance(can be due to PCOS),hypothyroidism, cigarette smoking or underlying Chlamydia infection while on birth control, ectopic pregnancy. You should get it evaluated from your doctor and start with the treatment if the repeat happens.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
