Whats wrong with me

I just got off the birth control shot in december. I had my period last month but my nipples are really hard and sore all the time & I've had real bad heartburn.... I thought I might be pregnant so I took 2 tests this morning and it was negative what could be wrong with me ???

Hormones are crazy and unpredictable. Could be just your body adjusting to not having the hormones from the shot. If you period is "due" shortly and doesn't come I would take another pregnancy test if still neg. it is probably just your body re-adjusting. If you period STILL doesn't come a couple of weeks after it is due take another test. This is just my suggestion. If you have any type of extrem cramping or pelvic pain,  or fever you need to see the doctor ASAP.

Try not to worry to much. I was on the shot for 2 years and it takes time to re regualte. I had small amounts of bleeding at first then went 4 monthes with no period, and was irrgular for a while after that. But I would check with your doctor to be sure, ask for a blood test, they tend to be a lot more accuret.
