What's wrong with me???

Recently I have had cottage cheese like discharge and I have been with the same guy for over three months. I got my period earlier this week so it stopped but now I've noticed that my clit seems swollen maybe? It is pinkish/reddish with a bit of white maybe? Anyways it really hurts but only on one side. It hurts to the point that if my underwear even touches it I'm in pain. What could it be?

Oh, and just to add, in re reading your post, you could have irritation from the discharge and any itching or extra wiping you are doing but since you are having pain, you really DO need to see your doctor sweetie.  good luck

Hi there and welcome.  Often a chunky discharge that itches is a yeast infection.  This is when there is an overgrowth of yeast in the vagina.  It can happen all on its own, when you upset the ph balance of your vagina such as when you take antibiotics or douche (NEVER douche) but is transferable between male and female during sex.  (not an std though).

If you've never been diagnosed, doctors recommend being examined and swabbed to be sure.  Then treatment begins.  This can be a pill that they prescribe or over the counter vaginal suppositories such as the Monastat brand (I like the one day as it has the highest concentration of medicine but ALL take 2 days to notice they are working).

good luck hon
