When does the bleeding stop?

I  had a M/C on Friday I was 5/6 weeks.  I had s lot of cramping on Friday and a little on Saturday.  I have been bleeding since Saturday morning, I know it has not been that long, but there is hardly any blood. I don't even fill 1 pantliner in a day (even theough I change it more often).  Is that the way it is supposed to be, at this rate it will take all month.  Also, when I called my Dr. the cancel my first OB appt. and tell them about the M/C ( I had gone to the ER) they told me I didn't need to come in or do anything.  Is that normal?  When I had the ultrasound at the ER she said there was nothing in there, you couldn't even tell I was preg.  So I am assuming all is clear.  I am a litle confused.  Thanks!

I bled for about 2 weeks and it was pretty heavy most of the time, but I was a little further along.  My Dr. didn't have me come in either.  Told me to call if I had any problems, and they did call me a few days after to check in, which was kind.  I had my next period 2 weeks later and it was so heavy that they told me I was fine, I got a bfp right after that and they never once doubted that it was an old pregnancy.  Each Dr. is different, but if you are concerned or uncomfortable, call and I'm sure they will fit you in.

i am so sorry you are going thru this, make sure you follow up on this to your dr. they have to check you levels if it comes down to zero. when i had my natural m/c i bled for 7 days and for first 4 days it was so crampy, i had a lower backpain, then a week after that my levels went down from 860 to 60 something (not sure the exact no). then drawn another bloodwork, level went down to -. they also checked my tubes, made sure i didnot have ectopic. i know what you feel, hang in there.. i will pray for you. hugs & kisses!!!!!!!!:>(

They did draw blood. I started at 336 on Tuesday, 697 Thursday.  Then at the ER on Saturday it was 303.  So they told me I would miscarry.  But when they checked me my cervix was closed, doesn't it have to be open to bleed?
