Who is my childs father

by deneenkm, Jun 20, 2007 12:00AM
I have a 3 month old son now. But I am not sure who is my childs father. I Usually come on my period on the 3rd of every month before I got pregnant. I found out I was pregnant on July 3rd, 2006 when I didnt have a period. I actually got raped on june 2nd 2006. I came on my period the next day. My due date was March 10th 2007 and I had my baby on that exact day. I was wondering, do I need to have a DNA test done and ruin my family, or is my boyfriend my childs father because we have unprotected sex almost everyday.

since you came on your period after you had been raped I would personally think that your boyfriend would be your childs father, but the only way to findout is through a DNA test. I personally would go on the belief that my childs father was indeed my boyfriend, and not risk ruining my family. Best wishes................

I would almost be positive it is your boyfriends baby but, you can do a DNA test without asking him. Look up DNA Diagnostics (I believe that is what it's called) It would be in the childs best interest to know. God forbid something should happen but in case of a serious illness or accident you are going to want to be sure your boyfriend is the father so there is less delays for blood ,organ, bone marrow matches etc. A rape is not your fault and it will not ruin your family. Just a thought but it will probably help you rest a little better too.
