Why am I itchy, and burning when urinating

I'm a baby boomer. Premenopausal, been with one man for almost 4 years. I ride motorcycles almost very day, sweat alot, eat more salt then I should, drink gatorade daily with water, and sweat alot. I am always hot, and sweat alot in the crotch area. Could I have a yeast infection or is this one of the menopause signs. I look alot younger then my age, probably because I sweat alot.
But this irritation is extremely annoying, cause now it's affecting my relationship because I don't know if its contagious. I have difficulty sleeping because I have to urinate often and only expell minute amounts that is burning when it passes around the outer walls. I could use some suggestions'

Hi, me too i had UTI last week and after taking antibiotics, i felt fine until early this week, i have another symptons of yeast infection..i've used monistat cream and its helping a lot.

I have gotten uti also a few times and i always go to my doc to be checked up, i suggest to go see a doctor. as far as menopause thing, i really don't know.. i know it is terrible to have this infection ( UTI or Yeast infection) you can also drink a lot of cranberry juice. i buy cranberry pill also.. i don't drink much fluids that is probably why i keep getting this infection..

It sounds like it could be a urinary tract infection (UTI). I have gotten them a few times and they are treated with antibiotics. Do you feel like you have to urinate often but only pee a little? That is one sign and the burning is another sign. You can google urinary tract infections and look at the symptoms and see if yours are similar to a UTI. Not sure about the menopause thing but if you are still having a period every month, I wouldn't think it's due to menopause. You can google it too and see to signs of that. I know hot flashes are one and even though you sweat alot, you are on the back of a bike so sweating is gonna happen. I do know that when the vaginal area is moist all the time, it can cause yeast infections. But your's sounds like a Urinary Tract Infection. As far as contagious, it's not.
