Why do I have dark painful peeling skin between my breasts?

Also I have a subaceaus cyst at the top of between my breasts and I've squeezed it twice today it still hurts terribly and I don't know what to do I cannot do to the doctor this is too disgusting and embarassing.
It was when I saw this that underneath that in the center of my chest was a dark patchy area. At first I just thought it was dry so I peeled it off but then it started to hurt a lot and I realised that was my skin! I don't know what happened it's dry and sore and I'm really scared and anxious.
Do you think it may have something to do with the tea tree oil I put on there last night? Did it burn?

Hi,
If this cyst has become infected and has grown in size you should have it looked at by a doctor. Don't peel, squeeze, or try to drain it because that can cause damage to the skin that is trying to heal, and an infection can occur...
You may have a burn, or an allergic reaction, to the Tea Tree Oil; stop using it for now... To help heal the affected area, you can either apply a thin layer of Aloe Vera (gel, juice, or ointment) 3x daily, or apply a thin layer of Neosporin once daily. You should cover the area with a nonstick, sterile pad (gauze or Telfa pads), secured with first-aid tape to help keep it clean ~ change the pad once daily, or whenever it becomes damp or messy. You should see healing within a week, but if you don't, you should see a doctor for further treatment. Good Luck

Thank you for the tips! I shall try these out
But I've never had a reaction to tea tree oil and have been using it for years.
I didn't mentiin that if I peel the dark skin off it is sticky and flimsy and reveals red raw painful skin
