History - Married for 23 years , our last child of two 13 and 21 she had to have a partial hysterectomy .she is now 39 always been a little over weight, was a heavy drinker for a few years " has not drank in over 3 years "over the last 3 years has lost 60 lbs eats well " low fat milk veggies fruits ect..." exercises daily and is in great shape.

Problem - Only one problem she has a bad odor down there. It didn't start until she changed her life style. We have went to her doctor, she has no woman problems but the smell is strong during intercorse it's worse.
I have been checked and I have nothing wrong.
Question - Could this change in her life style have caused this ?
Help - Has anyone else been in this situation ? What can we do ?
Thank you

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello,
It could be bacterial vaginosis. It is the most common cause of abnormal vaginal odor and discharge. It is caused by a change in the type of bacteria found in the vagina. Diagnosis can be confirmed after pelvic examination and microscopic examination of the vaginal discharge.
It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.
