I have somewhat of the same problem. My breasts are so sore I can barely touch them. I am on birth control also and finished my period about two weeks ago and am not due for another 10 days or so. I have actually not been exhausted though so I'm not sure what is up.

if you have had more soy recently that can happen, soy has estrogen in it and so does bc. so both combined makes your body act pregnant, that happened to me. have you been eating or drinking soy products recently?

The extreme exhaustion you describe is similar to that in late first-trimester pregnancy and THAT exhaustion is caused by the hormones of pregnancy, so possibly what is going on is that your body has started to produce some hormones that augment the ones in the birth control you are taking, and the dose is now too strong.  Check with your doc to see if you should try a different pill.  I assume you haven't missed a period or you would have mentioned it --- if you have missed a period, also take a pregnancy test.
