Worried and Confused

hey guys. thanks in advance for your posting, i appreciate it.

on Sunday i took a HPT and it came back positive (this was 2 days before AF). I wanted to be sure so i took several and they all came back positive (about 6 total).

yesterday and today i am having cramping like i am getting my period and today i am bleeding. not like a period, its very clotty and brown, but the cramping is constantly there.

Last night i took another HPT and it was negative, but i only took one and it was an EPT (which i have heard can sometimes be unreliable)

so my question is - am i having a miscarriage or was i dreaming about the positive pregnancy tests?
I have a doctor's appointment on monday also.

I would take another test today... if it is negitive still, call your dr and explain everything. They may want to see you (well they should)

i am so sorry to hear that i read your earlier post too. my friends and family just tell me it was not meant to be and its better to have a completely healthy pregnancy.

when its meant to be it will be i guess...

good luck to you!

I had a very similiar situation, see post 'symptoms of miscarrage', posted on 9/04/06.  I had a urine-pregnancy test that was positive and 24 hrs later, spotting and blood and then a neg. test.  I went to my doc, took a blood test, hcg level was low, diagnosis; most likely a miscarriage but i am doing following up of blood tests to follow the hcg.  It would probably be best (as was advised to me) to go to your doc. and have a blood test taken to see where you are holding. lots of luck.

Oh, dear. I hope not. I don't know what to say. I never had anything like that happen. Maybe someone wil answer that has. i wish you the best. Those test are pretty accurate. i would call your doc, and tell him/her you have an emergancy. Or go to the hospital. they will be able to tell you too.
