Would antibiotics affect a stinscreening for gonorrhea or syphilis ?

I had an unprotected sexual encounter about a month ago. I swallowed my partners ejaculation, within 3 days I developed a sore throats and white patches near the back right tonsil. I was administered a strep test which came back negative but the pain increased, I could not swallow anything, I had ear aches, and began to run a fever. I went to the ER within 4 days once the pain was intolerable. The DR. Prescribed me augmentin and the pain subsided until the meds were gone. Four days later on Thanksgiving all of the symptoms returned. I went to the ER again to get a different diagnosis or pharyngitis. I was prescribed clindamycin and prednisone. This prescription is taking longer to subdue my symptoms though I have only been on it one day. I was never administered a sti screening and I was wondering if I should get one. But can I get a sti screening while on antibiotics? And would the results be accurate while on antibiotics?
