Yeast Infection Treatment...how long?

Hi board!

I'm currently treating a vaginal yeast infection and was wondering what your experiences were with Diflucan? How long does a typical yeast infection last? The itching and burning have subsided, and I took my first diflucan pill Sunday (doc gave me 4). I'm also using Vagisil for itching and irritated skin! Thanks!

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for a yeast infection to clear up? I just popped my second week of Diflucan, and my symptoms are much better. My red, irritated, itchiness is gone...just stuck with that gross cottage cheese-like discharge.

How long does it take to go away?
