Yeast Infection

Hello ladies,Im new to the USA and have a little yeast infection and was wondering what the best over the counter treatments are available here. Names and brands would be very helpful. I usually prefer to use the 1 internal dissolving pessarie along with an antifungal cream for external use. Thanks!!

Hi - Welcome!! Monistat is a pretty effective over-the-counter medication. You can find it with a separate tube of cream to be used externally.

Monistat is the best stuff!!! It's great! They have a anti itch cream ! they have it in 1 or 3 day treaments. Three is the best.I know your miserable. I feel sorry for you. Good luck. Don't have sex! You'll get it back next week.

I read on here not to long ago that it isn't a good idea to use the 1 day treatment, and probably isn't a good idea to use 3 day treatment either. The best is the 5 day or 7 day treatment. The 1 day and even 3 day treatment can be to strong of a dose and burn you. So I advise u to use the 5 day treatment or 7 day treatment of monistat! Good Luck!

I agree with sherrirobinson. Use the 5 - 7 day treatment. The 1 -3 days could cause problems or not eradicate it entirely. Good luck to you and starting a life in the U.S.!
