Yeast Infections and Copper IUD

I have had the Copper IUD since August. With every period I get a bleeding yeast infection. Is this normal? Has anyone else experienced this with the IUD?

I've had the copper IUD for a little over two years, as awesome as I want to say it is it's hard to do. With every cycle almost I have a yeast infection. I never experienced this prior but I'm to the point where I can't stand it. Just my opinion weigh all of your options when it comes to choosing the birth control that works best for you! Plz be safe.
