Yeast Infections and Pregnancy

I haven't had a period since Feb 18. I took two home pregnancy test and they were negative. So I made an appointment with my Gyne. I took a blood test it was negative, but I have a yeast infection. Today I talked to her and asked about my yeast infection, cause it's really bad and irritating, she said wait a couple of weeks to see if my period comes down. I'm fusrtated because my blood test is negative. So I guess my question is howw long does it take to detect pregnancy in the blood? What can I do about this yeast infection?

If you are not pregnant then I don't see why you can't treat the yeast infection, with all my pregnancies, the Dr. always treated the yeast infections, even in early pregnancy.

You can use monistat 7 to cure the yeast infection.  This should be safe during pregnancy.  Hey I had diflucan and I found out that I was pregnant.  My dr. said not to do it again but that I should be fine.  She said next time to use monistat 7.
