Yeast infection ? Help

Is it possible to get Yeast Infection from taking doxy for 3 days. ??

Painful urination, burning, and white discharge.

No, it all started after taking Doxycyline. The OTC seems to be working. Took Doxy for few days and started having the symptoms.

She might also have a urinary tract infection which goes hand in hand sometimes with a yeast infection.

She defenately sound like she has a yeast infection.There are different types of bacteria causing yeast infections therefore some can be cured over the counter, some you need a prescription for which can be cheaper than over the counter.  I'm not sure what doxy is but I do know that many medicines and especially antibiotics can cause yeast infections. The biggest cause is changes in hormones which are caused by taking these. They are also caused by pregnancy.  Pardon me by saying this but you also might not have been the cleanest down there one time before you had intercourse with her or if you had gone from anal to the vagina. Sorry If I'm so blunt, but I hope this helps.
