Yeast infection or Something else??

For the past two months now, I have had  a horrible itchy feeling around my vagina, it is not so much inside just around.  I am very red in this area as well.  I am having a little more discharge than normal, which takes on a white watery consistency (there is no odor to the discharge).  I have been married now for  four years, however my husband has been deployed for the past 4 months.  I went to see my Gynocologist in fear that it could be herpes or something (I am not really a hypochondriac, but I seemed to have some of the symptoms)  however their were no lesions or blisters present.  My Gyno looked at me and said everything appeared normal, she did a culture for Yeast, Herpes, Ghonorrea and Chlamydia.  She did see some yeast under the microscope, so she prescribed terconazole for seven days. The other STD results came back negative.  I used this by inserting it into my vagina for seven days, and though I have had quite a bit of relief, I am still fairly itchy and red.  The itchiness and redness was never really on the inside of my vagina, mainly the outside.  It has been almost two weeks now since I treated myself, and I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what to do next.  I am lost, I have had about 3 yeast infections in my lifetime, and they have all been cured right after treating them.  Could it be something else???  Oh I have even started using plain yogurt on the area, not sure if it is helping though.  I have put yogurt on a pad for the past two nights and wear this for a few hours at night.  Any comments would help, thank you.
