Yeast infection that wont go away.

by butterfly001, Aug 31, 2009 08:25AM
I have an infection for like a month now, never had one this long. When i went to the dctr he said it was trichomonas, so he gave me a treatment of 5 pills had to take at once...it did NOT help. I went back then he gave me a treatment of 5 days wich i had to take 3 pills daily for the 5 days untill finishing it all.
So this one did not help again.  I was sooo worried so i made an apointment with my Gynecologist..when i went to see hin he said that it was NOT trichomonas but just a normal yeast infection that every woman gets. So he gave again another treatment of just 1 pill(diflucan) and a cream i have to put inside once daily, that was last friday(28-aug-09)..BUT i STILL got the damn infection and to make things wors just this morning me and my partner had sex and he cald me saying that his penis is burning and that he has to pee like every second again and again. HELP HELP its verry fustrating. The dctrs here dont know a thing and im sooo tired. i live in Bonaire(neth Antilles). I realy need allot of advise. Thank you

Hi, i think you both should get STD tests to be sure its nothing else. men dont normally get thrush symptoms but they can do so maybe it is just that.

If you are clear, or you cant wait, try natural sugar-free yogurt with live bio-cultures...maybe on a tampon and insert it or even just on a finger. My last yeast infection was cause i was antibiotics and the thrush medication that always works, wasnt working, so i used the yogurt and after a few days it really helped.

Use some on your partner too and see if that helps him. Also, drink only water and plenty of it...i find that if my urine is too acidic it irritates the itchyness even more.
