Hi, i think you both should get STD tests to be sure its nothing else. men dont normally get thrush symptoms but they can do so maybe it is just that.
If you are clear, or you cant wait, try natural sugar-free yogurt with live bio-cultures...maybe on a tampon and insert it or even just on a finger. My last yeast infection was cause i was antibiotics and the thrush medication that always works, wasnt working, so i used the yogurt and after a few days it really helped.
Use some on your partner too and see if that helps him. Also, drink only water and plenty of it...i find that if my urine is too acidic it irritates the itchyness even more.
