Yellowish green discharge

I'm 16 and I have really bad iching on my vagina area. There's also this yellowish greenish discharge I get.. What's the best thing to do? I'm scared to go to the gyno with my mom because they ask personal questions & my mom would be there. No I'm not a virgin

I think it's an infection not an std kus I haven't had sex recently .. And I don't think the ichyness would go away if it was an std ... Kus It goes away, then comes & the yellowish green discharge was only one time I saw it, and that's what freaked me out n

Thats good hun and yea especially because it keeps coming back. Stds can actually remain dormant so u would even know u had anything or u could have symptoms and then go dormant n then back and forth so good luck

Hello sweetheart and welcome to the forumn. I hate to say it but from the discahrge especially it sounds like a sign of an infection or and std. Are u sexually active or have u every been? And btw it depends on what state u are in, for example i am on NY and in NY state legally at age 16 you can say u dont want a parent in the room and legally they cant tell your parents anything. If not they will normally ask u questions with a parent there n then ask them to leave to do an exam and will ask u again b/c they know a lot of the time someone will not say something, ie not a virging, infront of their parents but will with them out of the room, so i would check into that. I would say its possible it could be a yeast infection but because u said it was greenish in color. If it is it can be treated with over the counter meds if not too bad if too bad it needs meds from gyno. But like i said im sorry n i hate to say it but itchiness and that colored discharge does sound like an infection or std so i would get to the docs asap before it gets worse. Good luck and keep me posted and hope this helped a little.
