Yogurt for vaginal yeast infections

Everyone says to eat yogurt for yeast infections, which my wife has had for over 1 year. But yet, everyone says to eat as little sugar as possible. Isn't yogurt filled with sugar? At least that's what i'm seeing on nutritional guides. Are there certain types of yogurt. I'm lost. Thanks in advance.

they say the best kinds of yogurt is stonyfields. that is what i heard. eat plain vanilla...

Make sure the yogurt is probiotic, as that contains live baceteria, which is good. Plain yogurt is definitely best as well since it doesn't have all of the added preservatives, and can taste great with a little granola and fresh fruit added.

yes plain yogurt and I also heard not to buy the low fat yogurt
