a lot of dark brown discharge

by sarah102, Jan 12, 2009 09:57PM
I have had a dark brown discharge for the past week or two.  Last month I had my period on time.  I am scheduled to have it again in two or three days.  I am currently taking birth control and am sexually active.  What I am worried about is this discharge.  It is mainly always dark brown, sometimes think but sometimes watery, sometimes it can be both at the same time if that makes sense.  When it first started to happen, there was not a lot of it and I thought it could be just from my birth control.  For the past month I have not been taking it on time, I usually take it around 8 am, but for the past month it has been between 8am and 12 or 1pm because of my schedule.  Does anybody know why this could be happening? It seems as if there is more and more as the days go on, today I had filled up a little over half a panty liner in a day.  I have no idea waht it could be from.  Any ideas?  Thank you
