abnormal periods

I am 22 years
I keep having abnormal periods, I can skip 2 months without getting my periods and when they come I get severe periods pains...is this normal or what?

Hi there.  Well, it is very common for young people (usually teens) to have irregular cycles.  Your a bit older than that but not that far off.  I would, if I were you, have a pelvic exam by an ob/gyn and discuss this with them.  There could be things like polycystic ovaries, hormonal issues, etc. that are causing this.  They may want you to try the pill to regulate you.  But I think it is time to talk to a doctor and come up with a plan.  good luck hon
